Vehicle Detail

Well, here's my baby. I've decided that as much as I love this beautiful beast, that a car is a more sensible option for me since I have nothing to tow or haul. This was my family vehicle and used to carry around the wife and child and to drive to work on rainy days. (I ride a motorcycle all other days.) I've owned it for the last 50K and it's a very clean truck. I had all the seats reupholstered in Katzkin leather and the carpeting replaced shortly after I purchased it in 2008. The carpeting still looks new and the leather great with the normal entry/exit wear on the driver's seat common to Ram's. The tires are good but nearing the end of their lives and will need to be replaced in the next 2K or so. If I were keeping it, I would replace them now to be honest. The truck is equipped with CentraMatic dynamic wheel balancers (google it) so no wheel balancing is required when installing new tires. In fact I've been doing that myself on this vehicle and if you provide the tires, I'll put them on for you or show you how and sell you the tire changing tool (Harbor Freight less than $100 and even less from me!) The MPG on the overhead console is for my last around town tank of fuel. It's consistently 4 MPG than hand calculating so I stopped doing the math. The truck went over 500 before the fuel light came on and it's a 35gallon tank. It has a Smarty Jr programmer to achieve this mileage and whether it goes with the truck or is removed is negotiable ($300 will do it.) Removing it returns the programming to stock if you are a stock kinda guy. Check out the forum dieseltruckresource (google DTR) and you can learn all about it. This truck has given me no trouble at all the entire time I've owned it and it will most certainly provide it's next owner years if not decades of reliable service as a Cummins engine is good for a half a million miles or more. The paint is in good condition and looks good with a good shine but it has the normal dings and light scratches here and there for a 7 year old. I consider myself an excellent driver and can whip this baby into a tight parallel spot with the greatest of ease but I was shown up by a branch of a pear tree over hanging a spot I backed into and it the very back top corner of the bed on the passenger side. Looked like someone hit it with a hammer. Insurance had it repaired, no body filler got a whole new side. Less than a month after that, my daughter backed it into a branch nub (I couldn't say much) and punched the tailgate and I had to replace it. All fluids changed when I got it, brake, coolant, transmission and gear. Oil changed every 5K and fuel filter every 10K. I've only used John Deere Plus 50 (not Plus-50 II, I stocked up when they swapped formulas and I have a lot left you can talk me out of.) 8 oz of 2 stroke marine oil mixed into every tank to keep the injector pump happy. Also included are 2 key fobs, 2 keys, a wallet key, owner's manual and Husky front and back floor mats. Note: this is NOT a factory Power Wagon. I like that name and put a factory logo on it. "POWER WAGON" is the coolest name for a truck ever. I also installed the factory tow hooks but it does not have a winch. A winch, hooks and logo is the power wagon package. Shipping: I will aid in any way I can with shipping but it is the buyer's responsibility for shipping. I will deliver this truck with in 500 miles of Birmingham AL for $1 per mile plus the cost of a car tow dolly (around $100-$150.) You could even meet me in your car and tow your car back home from there. Please make all delivery arrangements prior to bidding.
