You are bidding on a nice old 1961 ford falcon ranchero.I got this on trade from a guy that says he got it from the orginal owner.I had the car on a rack and there is no rust the body is great but the paint is not so great.There are only a couple little dents that i can see. He told me it was ordered with the factory four speed tranny. The colume is clean there was never a three speed on the tree.It is a 170 motor that runs like a sewing machine no smoke runs great. The dash was repainted and the interior was redone some time ago just needs a good cleaning. Everything works but the wipers. There is no wiper switch. Has a new battery and is registered in the state of arizona. I have a clear clean title in my hand.The bed is in great shape just like the rest of the car. I have the ford letters for the tailgate in glovebox along with a couple other things. I got over $2.700 invested with the trade but i need to sell to pay bills my loss is your gain. The tires are weathered cracked so i would not plan on driving it along ways. The car is located in barstow,ca . 92311 . I will need cash in hand at time of pick up. On Feb-06-12 at 18:38:27 PST, seller added the following information: Hello folks i was told by a falcon pro that this car is not a factory four speed car. He told me to look and follow the steering colum thru the engine compartment and if it had one arm on the bottom of it it would be a automatic. If there are two arms it would be a three on the tree. It has two arms on the bottom of it so it is not a factory four speed car. But who ever did it did a nice job because the steer colum is clean no holes where a shifter would be.So if you want to retract your bids i dont blame you. It still is a nice car and it is a good job at putting the four speed in it. Thank you and sorry for the wrong info. Jeff
