This is my 1953 Ford Custom Woody Surf Wagon. I have owned this car for 23 years This is the last year for the Real Wood on the exterior, It is Maple (after the 1953 it was all plastic imitation wood), It is a mild custom with the custom work done in the early '60's, It has Frenched headlights ,Desoto Grille, Olds taillights ,Nosed,and pinstripped. The car has a 1988 Corvette TPI 350 (now with carb) and Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Mustang rear end, Giant custom Walker radiator, Dual exhaust with factory Corvette stainless steel headers, The car has Butch'sRod shop Power steering conversion and lowering kit in front, A/C underdash add on . The interior is almost all original and in nice condition. The interior has mahogany wood in the rear deck and door panels, factory original wheels with radial tires with white walls The car drives excellent , The drive train has very low miles under 1000 miles! The car is only used for cars shows and parades and advertising photo shoots and sometimes I drive it for fun.
