I’m selling my 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT Automatic transmission with 6G72 3.0L V6. Mystic Figi Blue Metallic (T78) paint with black leather interior. The car is in excellent condition inside and out. Paint shines beautifully, and body is in great condition. The interior is in near perfect condition, tiny split in outermost bolster on driver seat, (see picture). The car has 102,000 miles on it and all services and maintenance are current and up to date. All service records and receipts will be provided for winning bidder as well as original manuals and paperwork. We are the second owners. This is a fantastic car and I hate to sell it, but with my growing family I am looking to purchase a larger vehicle to replace this one with. This car is fully loaded with all the luxury features, i.e.: power windows and door locks, alarm, power drivers seat, extremely cold a/c & warm heat, AM/FM stereo with Ipod connection, rear folding seats, electronic controlled suspension, ABS, and much more... and every single option/button on the car are all fully functional... There are no mechanical problems with the car, everything work perfect as it should, it runs and drives great. No warning or check engine lights on. I recently had the engine rebuilt top to bottom. It had lost oil pressure due to a bad oil pump. This is a common issue with the 3.0L’s. When the engine lost oil pressure, all main and rod bearings were damaged causing the motor to seize. The rebuilt engine currently has 4800 miles on it and runs excellent with great amounts of power. No leaks, no noises, ticks or anything else... List of new parts installed during engine rebuild: turn crank 10/10Complete Valve Job and surface heads Rods resized crank, rod and thrust bearings Upgraded 3rd generation valve lifters ( eliminates the common lifter “ticking” ) hi flow oil pump piston ringsHigh Performance gaskets/seals throughout (complete engine gasket set installed) Water pump & thermostatTiming BeltHydraulic tensioner New Radiator complete cooling hose kit OEM Knock Sensor NGK spark plugs serpentine belt drive belt and P/S belt Four new motor mounts Air Filter Engine has always been filled with 10/40 Castrol GTX (the only oil recommended for this engine in the factory manual) Transmission was fully rebuilt at the same time when it was removed. New torque converter, front oil pump and seal, new filter and ATF. New Front and Rear brake pads with four new Rotors Four New Kumho HP4 225/55/16 Tires, these have less than 2000 miles on them. Again, all records, documentation and pictures of the above will be provided to winning bidder as well as all old parts that were replaced/removed during rebuild.
