Granny can not drive any more. She and husband bought 1979 chevy monte carlo new in 1979. in louisville. It has 68k miles on it. Complete history. Grandpa wrote everything in a log book til he passed on in 1985. Have glove box of reciepts since then. 267 v8 , auto. Light green in color with dark green vinyl inside. It has never spent a night outside of the garage. Driven very little in the past 3 years. No rust anywhere..Zero rust... new battery. tires look great, Inside is as it was in 79. no rips or tears in seats. Gas gauge and AC does not work and has not for years. The doors close like new. Weather strip around windows are weak. Chrome inserts on bumbers are weak. Starts right up.
