You are bidding on a 1955 Ford F100 custom pickup. This vehicle has been in my family since new. It was purchased in Dayton, Ohio at Borchers Ford. My father bought it new in 1955 to be used as a Service Truck for his Business. The truck was originally red with a Y-block V-8. The engine is the originally numbers matching to the truck. The truck has approx 35,000 original miles. Over the years my Dad installed a 12 Volt starting system. It still has a 6 volt system except for the starting. If anyone remembers these Ford 6 Volt systems they never were any good at starting. As you can see in the pictures I have dressed the engine compartment. Power steering has been installed and it makes the truck much easier to drive. The interior was done a number of years ago and still looks good. The truck is not in mint condition however it has won a number of awards over the years. It runs and drives nice and it is a looker. If you want a vehicle that turns heads this is it. I put these tires and wheels on it recently and put new shocks all around. If you have noticed it has a full chrome 1956 grill. The 1956 grill was so much more impressive than the 1955.
