The W126 was built from 1979 to 1991 and to this day is considered one of the best prestige luxury coupes ever built. They are known for their simple maintenance and long term reliability. This car is a high quality, well maintained, and unrestored example with 78,177 original miles. A full inspection was done at Mercedes of Spokane, WA #139 on March 4, 2010, when we purchased the car from the original owner. The following work was based on that inspection: purchase/installation of 5 new Pirelli P6 tires, a four wheel alignment was done, a new battery installed, the original steering box was rebuilt by Red Head in Seattle and reinstalled with all new hoses, and a new steering shock was installed. The timing chain, tensioner, and rails were replaces at 60,434 miles on Sept 8, 2007. The recommended 75,000 mile replacement of the timing chain has also been done. This is a beautiful car, always garaged, with an exceptional history.
