1991 Land Rover / Range Rover Country Classic. 161K miles 3.9 ltr V8 AWD. Original California rust free car / clean title, has only been in Nevada for six months. white / beige leather power seats, CC, AC, sunroof, Alpine AM-FM Ipod media deck. Everything works, AC seems to work ok but is not super cold. New Yokohama Geolander tires, stock three spoke 16" wheels dipped in chrome (not my favorite), and chrome is peeling, still looking for a nice set of disco alloys or black steel nato rims? front transfer case shifts smooth with regular diff fluid changes, oil every 3K etc... when I bought it out of southern California the owner had removed the front driveshaft (thus making it a 2WD) to save on fuel cost and never drove it off road, the driveshaft is in good shape and the front transfer case and front diff has had regular fluid changes despite not having the driveshaft installed! I have been waiting for bad weather up here (which hasn't really happened yet) before I re-install front driveshaft (it's been getting 19.6 mpg as is), re-installing front driveshaft will be done before sale of car if necessary. I have driven this car everyday since i've owned it (bought last July) and it drives fine. small amount of corrosion on inside of left rear door at the bottom, also a little corrosion on bottom of rear window frame. i do have an extra rear window w/ good frame that comes with car. ABS light is on and was told i need to adjust all four wheel sensors and re-set light? it had an intermittent check engine light for an 02 sensor that i have just replaced new (i replaced both 02 sensors new), and am not sure why it came back on? however, the check engine light is off now and has been off for a while. car always starts and runs good, suspension smooth and brakes are strong. engine temp is always just below half fully warmed up and never moves. please ask questions for more info of photos. thanks, good luck.On Feb-05-12 at 07:41:35 PST, seller added the following information: ** NEED TO MENTION: that the window switch plate in center console is broken at the top where it mounts to the center armrest. this does NOT effect window function and all windows do work. some of you who have owned these are familiar w/ this? on the shift surround some of the wood trim has chipped off also. driver window is sometimes slow to come back up but only when it is cold outside, otherwise works fine. sunroof slides and tilts like it is supposed to. the sunroof shade is missing fabric but does not effect sunroof function, i have read about a lot of people removing fabric so it doesn't bind up when sliding and painting the sunroof shade to match headliner? wipers work (front wipers new), but windshield washers do not (needs a washer pump). this is a nice car in its price range (better than most i saw at this price), but again it is 20+ years old and not everything is perfect. thanks..
