1969 Triumph Bonneville

When my brother laid this bike down about 16 yrs ago it had less than 15k miles on it, damage was to the handlebars, headlight, oil tank, right muffler and a dent in the tank, it did start and ran fine, but it has never been ridden since. I acquired it from him about a yr ago in the condition you see it, no one seems to know what happened to the carbs, but they were on it not long before I got it, I do have a set of mikuni carbs with cables and throttle for it. the tank is rust free with only the one dent in it & both fenders have no dents or dings with only original mnting holes, it appears the kickstarter spring is broken or weak, but it kicks over and has compression. the bike has light surface rust in some areas and the wheels are not damaged and the rims have no rust. A paint job, tires, a few parts and this bike could be on the road, but it deserves better, for it is a true classic and Bonnevilles of this era command a premium when restored. It is about 98% complete and mechanically still only has less than 15k actual miles on it. I have a new headlight bucket, oil tank, fender and tank mnting hdwr, and a crate of misc trading stock from varying yrs. I prefer a local sale but will ship with shipping arrangements the responsibility of the buyer. This has been an Arizona bike since it was new so what little rust you see is just surface..
