Thank you for looking at my 1969 Shelby GT350. I purchased the vehicle from the second owner of almost 19 years with 16,968 miles. The previous owner was a car collector who only drove the car about 1000 miles during the entire 19 years of ownership. I've enjoyed the Shelby and have driven it around town on the weekends putting no more than 300 miles on it. The Shelby was originally built for Hertz and after 6 months in the Hertz program, it was sold to its first individual owner on December 1, 1970 at Fitzgerald Ford. I have a copy the ORIGINAL title when sold on Dec 1, 1970, the ORIGINAL bill of sale from Dec 1970, and a Marti Report. The drivetrain is numbers matching. It appears to be original condition and never being rebuilt. The carb, dist, alt, and etc also appear to be original. The original Grabber Green paint was repainted once about 20 years ago and in excellent condition. This car has not had a total restoration. It's mostly original and in excellent condition. It has areas which could be detailed and or restored to be in better show condition. The factory options include automatic transmission, air conditioning, Traction-Lok 3.00 axle, folding rear seat, tilt away steering, power steering and brakes. The vehicle runs and drives great. The floor pans and underneath are solid and no rust with original undercoating. The interior is in excellent condition. Anyone is more than welcome to come inspect the vehicle during the auction. I cannot afford to keep all the Shelbys I've purchased over the years and need to make room for a convertible I've purchased. I'm not really interested in trades, other than I might consider any white 1968 Shelby model in good to excellent condition. The Shelby is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early. I've done my best to describe the vehicle, but I might have missed something. The mileage is believed to be correct and the previous owner signed off as being actual. The State of Missouri is a "mileage exempt" state for vehicles 10 years and older. I'm selling the vehicle in accordance with Missouri law. The vehicle is being sold as-is and with no warranties.
