1962 Chevrolet Impala 2 door Sport Coupe Project Car Up for auction is a 1962 Chevrolet Impala 2 door sport coupe - good starter for restoration project! Comes with a clear title! As can be seen in photos, the car is in decent shape for its age. Believe all the parts on it are original except for motor and transmission. Originally was a V8 car. Now has a straight 6 in it. Original color was Ermine white with Red vinyl and cloth interior. Guy we bought it from said it ran when it was parked probably 10-15 years ago. I can say it doesn't run now without someone giving it some attention. Was a "3 on the tree" manual transmission and had been converted to floor shift but the shifter was stolen sometime while it was parked. The glass is all intact. The windshield and drivers' side vent window are cracked. All of the window cranks are there. We have a lot of chrome that came with the car - believe it may all be there and mostly usable. See photos to determine for yourself. Some of the smaller items shown on the pallet are: 1 round side mirror, glove box door and push button lock, cowl, wiper arm, rear seat Impala emblem, "Impala" rear quarter trim, drivers' door armrest and other trim pieces. NO we will NOT sell any of the chrome/trim pieces - they go with the car. The floors seems to be pretty soft so probably need floor pans replaced. We removed the rear seat - under the seat and into trunk area looks good and solid. Haven't gotten into trunk yet to inspect it (no keys) but will update on condition after we check it out. The frame looks pretty good with only surface rust. The car rolls freely. We also have a 1961 and 1962 Impala, both four door parts cars (Bill of Sale only), that could be purchased separately.
