NO RESERVE!!!! NO RESERVE!!! High Bidder Wiins!! I am the original owner of this beautiful truck and you will not find another that has been better cared for. I have recently moved to Texas and opened a new business and I made the decision to give up my truck in order to have the money I need to make my business work. I always thought I would never sell this truck and I am going to be very sad the day it drives away. I bought my truck in Las Vegas in 2007. I kept my old truck for work and this was to always be the truck I used for family, vacations and business trips. I have babied my truck from day one. I do not smoke and have never let anyone come within ten feet of it with a cigarette. I have never had a dog, cat or any other animal in the truck. No rust! This truck spent most of its life in Las Vegas. It has never been abused. I engage the four wheel drive system at least once a month to make sure everything stays lubricated. I have never towed anything extremely heavy (although it is very capable) I have used my truck to tow my ski boat several times, including bringing it out from Las Vegas to Texas. It pulls very nice; I can hardly feel the boat behind me. I had an electric brake system installed when I bought my truck so it is set up to tow anything. I only use ROTELA synthetic motor oil. Batteries have been changed in the last months (three year free replacement warranty). Changed transmission fluid twice (every 30,000 miles). I included a picture of the original window sticker so you see all of the options. There are a few things that I added to this truck after I purchased it, including an electric rear sliding window and a locking tailgate. I also added a couple of very expensive upgrades, an electric sliding hard cover for the bed and the nicest Navigation / DVD / Satellite radio / CD / CD Recorder that pioneer has ever made. I am including as many pictures as ebay will allow but I am willing to send you more if you wish. You are also welcome to come and see the truck in person in New Braunfels Texas. I don’t let anyone drive my truck without me being in the passenger seat but you are welcome to drive it with me in it. My truck has a complete strobe light kit on the front and rear as well as a wig-wag kit on the headlights. I work on a law enforcement task force and the department installed the strobes and wig-wags for me. You might notice a visor light in the pictures, that will not come with the truck (Red and Blue) Video Walk Around: I have a video that I took today of a complete walk around. It also shows the stereo and the strobe light kit working. You can see it at this address http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eof7-mQK8fM&feature=email About the cover: This is the coolest bed cover ever made! It cost me almost two thousand dollars when I bought it and it has never given me any trouble. You can push a button on the key chain and the cover will automatically slide open and shut. It keeps out water and would be nearly impossible to break into, that is why i installed the locking tailgate. You can put anything you want in the back of the truck and press the button. when the slide reaches the tailgate it stops automatically and is strong enough to stand on when it is closed. (Aluminum construction) If you are hauling something that is tall you can slide the cover partially shut, it will stop automatically when it pushes against the cargo and it holds the cargo secure against the tailgate so you do not need to tie things down. About the Stereo : I did a massive amount of research before purchasing a Navigation system and I was sold on this unit. Believe me, it was not easy to convince me to spend over $3,000 on a Navigation / DVD system I am over 40 years old and listen to country western music so I was not looking for a stereo to shake my windows but I could not find anything that compared to this system. Below is the article that I read from review of this system, it sold me on the unit. I just want to make sure that you understand the value you are getting when you buy my truck vs any other. Pioneer AVIC-Z1 In-dash DVD receiver/navigation system with 30GB hard drive and 7" video screen Bluetooth®-ready Our take on the Pioneer AVIC-Z1 by Matt Freeman Why install a car stereo with built-in GPS? Imagine taking a trip as your car's receiver gives you directions, finds the best restaurant for dinner, and plays movies for your back seat denizens. Navigation receivers cover all the bases, with GPS guidance, DVD playback, and a host of other useful features. You can search through millions of points of interest to locate gas stations, restaurants, museums, and other interesting spots, wherever you are. Most receivers offer Bluetooth capability for hands-free calling, along with the ability to search through your iPod playlists with touchscreen controls. We think it's safe to say there's never been an in-dash DVD player quite like Pioneer's AVIC-Z1. Its on-board 30-gigabyte hard drive facilitates advanced satellite navigation and the storage of up to 10 gigabytes of songs ripped from your CDs. It sports an enormous 7" video screen and it's a perfect fit for vehicles with double-sized, 4" tall dash openings. The AVIC-Z1 also gives you touchscreen control over the entire system, voice control over several navigation functions, and playback of your DVDs and CDs. The strong internal amplifier puts out plenty of power for a full, rich sound. And you can use the interactive touchscreen menus to adjust the extensive tone controls, so the sound is just right for your vehicle. Smart, accurate navigation Like any navigation system, the AVIC-Z1 uses a combination of maps displayed on the screen and voice prompts that tell you when to turn. So what makes this system stand out from the rest? It stores its huge TeleAtlas map database on its 30-gigabyte hard drive. Just use the touchscreen to punch in your destination, whether it's a street address or one of the nearly 11 million points of interest — wherever you go, you'll be able to find hotels, restaurants, banks, gas stations, and much more. The AVIC-Z1 remembers the roads you travel frequently, and over time suggests roads with which you'll be familiar and comfortable. When calculating your route, the "smart routing algorithm" takes into account data like posted speed limits and number of turns required to reach your destination. You'll be sure to get the most efficient route the system can find to get where you're going as quickly as possible — unless you'd like to take the scenic route, of course. You and the AVIC-Z1 can carry on a dialogue, too. The included microphone lets you control many aspects of the navigation system using voice commands. And it's programmed with a large vocabulary, which makes giving commands easier than ever. For example, all you have to say is "L-A-X" without specifying the category "airport". Text-to-speech technology allows the AVIC-Z1 to announce most street names as you're approaching your turn, so you'll know where to turn without having to take your eyes off the road. The advanced system helps the system pronounce many tricky names correctly, instead of phonetically as some systems do. All that, and music, too This versatile DVD player reserves up to 10 gigabytes of the hard drive's memory to store music it rips from your standard CDs, plus the MP3 files you've burned on disc. The preloaded Gracenotes® software will even pull up and display the disc, artist, and track names for most CDs. You'll have a virtual jukebox in your dash, loaded with your favorite tunes. You can also use the 7" screen to watch your favorite DVD videos while you're parked. Connect a rear-seat video screen and wireless headphones, and the folks in back can keep watching while you're on the road. "Tri-Zone" capability means you can listen to one source, like the radio, up front while a movie plays in back and the AVIC-Z1 continues navigating. XM NavTraffic Add a compatible XM NavTraffic radio (see "Accessories") and subscribe to XM's innovative NavTraffic™ service. You'll receive continuously updated traffic information in many major metropolitan areas, including traffic accident alerts, road closure info, plus the average speed of traffic on the roads along the route you're navigating. You can prepare for traffic snags well in advance, and adjust your route accordingly. Roadside Assistance Pioneer also offers you a Roadside Assistance package that lets you access emergency contact information by pressing a button. The screen shows your exact location, including latitude and longitude readings, so you'll be able to direct emergency personnel. You also get an offer for a year's worth of free roadside assistance service from a national auto club. System expansion Use Pioneer's iPod® interface adapter to play your iPod through the AVIC-Z1, and control it using the touchscreen. You can also add a CD changer or an XM or SIRIUS satellite radio to extend your entertainment options. If you have a cell phone that's compatible with Bluetooth®, the optional Bluetooth cell phone adapter lets you make and receive phone calls without touching your phone or taking your eyes off the road to dial. There is a small crack in the black plastic behind the driver mirror. I have a “Harley Davidson Edition “badge on the door, that is just because I like the badge, this is not a Harley Davidson truck. I will not end the auction early, there is no “buy it now price”. I really hope to get what this truck is worth but I will trust the auction to bring whatever the market will pay. Whoever wins this bid will be very happy with this truck. The pictures and words do not do it justice. This is a true NO RESERVE! On Jan-24-12 at 13:56:53 PST, seller added the following information: I just drove the truck to San Antonio. I reset the MPG gauge before leaving New Braunfels and drove round trip a little over 70 miles. My mpg average was over 24 mpg. I forgot to mention that this truck is equipped with a police siren. This was installed by the department when they put in the strobes. It is a hideaway siren so you do not have a siren box in the truck, just a selector switch for phazer / yelp / wail or Horn. The horn is the same as a fire truck would have, very load. The siren is 100 watt. I had forgotten about the siren, I never really use it. The department put the strobe kit, wig-wag and siren on all of the task force officers’ vehicles in the event that we were called out to an event. I’ve never ran code 3 in this truck. Check with your local laws to make sure it is legal for you to have the siren. If you win the bid and want the siren, strobes or wig-wags removed I can have the department remove them within a few hours. The horn has come in handy a few times for moving those bicycle riders to the right and I get an occasional laugh when a friend walks in front of the truck and I make him soil a new pair of undies. (don’t try this at home)On Jan-25-12 at 13:25:42 PST, seller added the following information: Sorry to keep adding to this description but I have been getting emails and I think there are a few things I should mention. I have a clear Texas Title, no liens. I’ll try to put a picture of the title (partial picture) The tailgate lock is electric. When you set the alarm (factory) it locks all doors and locks the tailgate at the same time. Normally the DVD / NAV require that you are stopped with the brake set to watch a DVD or make inputs to the NAV. I had a bypass switch installed so you can make NAV entries while driving. You could also watch a movie while driving but that would not be a good idea.
