UPDATE: I have tried repeatedly to get my photos on this listing. I have tried various formats. I have never had this problem before. If you want to see photos on my craigslist posting, go to the Lawrence, Kansas craigslist site and search on 1982 Cadillac. We bought this car to restore a couple of years ago and it has simply sat in the barn since then. It WANTS to fire up, but I can't get it to do it. I have ZERO mechanical background and training so I can't tell you if this is an easy fix or a nightmare. (You should probably plan on towing her.) She is a pretty car with a solid, straight, rust free body, as depicted in the photos. We started it once and the electonics worked. The interior is in great shape, with the exception of crack in the dashboard and a tear to the driver's door panel and damage to the center console padding between the front seats. Seems to be the original CB radio in there! The wheels are original; the tires appear reasonably good. That is, they haven't flattened while sitting in the barn. Prior to our buying it, it sat for perhaps 6 years. We started the process of flushing out the old gasoline. The odometer is not accurate, so I do not know how many miles are on it. When the prior owner registed it in Kansas in 2004, he reported the mileage at 50,564. The title reads "Exempt from Mileage Requirements." I think the odometer reads around 79,000 but there is no place for a sixth digit so since ebay required an odometer reading, I used 179,000 but that's pretty arbitrary. When I bought it, I ran a Carfax and it showed no accidents. She deserves a loving owner! I will sell or trade for a car, however ugly, that runs reliably (for my son), a pop-up or older camper trailer, a running motorcycle, possibly body parts or tires for our 1989 Toyota 4Runner.
