'77 Spider in great condition, with 87,000 miles. I purchased the car over 20 years ago from the first owner, and have only put 30,000 miles on it in that time. I have receipts for parts and work. It's a blast to just drive and listen to the sound of the exhaust. The engine starts right up, runs great and shifts without any problems. Tight handling. Paint is Viper Red in good condition, with only a few minor scratches. One dime-sized rust bubble starting to raise up on the left rear wheel arch, and almost no other rust anywhere else. Michelin tires have at least 70% of tread left. Oil changed every 6 months. Cosmetic upgrades include California side mirrors, Nardi steering wheel with Abarth scorpion insert, Ansa free-flow exhaust, driving lights and allow wheels. I have the original steering wheel, side morror and Fiat AM-FM radio. Factory Fiat shop manual, Haynes and Clymer manuals. Within the last 3,000 miles I have replaced the shocks with KYB gas units, IAP performance springs, upper and lower ball hoints, control arm bushings, tie rods & center link, polyurethane front swaybar bushings, clutch, pressure plate & throw-out bearing, rubber flex joint. New alternator and battery. Driver's side floor pan replaced and passenger side repaired last year. Brake work includes new rotors and pads, remanufactured brake calipers, hoses and bleed screws all around. New front brake lines installed, and I have new rear lines, brake compensator and hose ready to go on. Two year old cloth top with clear rear window and no tears. Good vinyl top boot. Roll bar. High quality car cover. Original tool kit, jack and owners manual. Interior needs a little attention, mainly the dash and side panels. Dash is cracked and deformed, but I have a brand new dash cap. Seats have cloth seating surface inserts so you don't burn the back of your legs when wearing shorts.......no rips or tears in the seats. Carpet in in decent shape and has floor mats. A few repairs/adjustments are necessary.............Wipers are slow, water leak on passenger floor. Valve cover gasket needs replacement, Clock doesn't work, but I have spare plus clear lens. Other minor tweaks to be expected of a 35 year old car. New spare parts on hand include clutch cable; Crane XR700 electronic ignition; engine & transmission gasket sets; air, oil and gas filters; brake pads, and much more. Fiat valve tools, shim set, spring compressors and Fiat books available but not included in this auction. Used parts from dismantling other Spiders include 2 spare transmissions, one with bad 2nd gear (I have a new 2nd gear) and one that I think shifts fine, but no guarantees. Alternator, heater core, fan radiator,splash pan, side & tail lights and lenses, etc., etc., etc. Five boxes of used parts, including guages,interior and exterior trim, badges, hundreds of original screws, bolts, clips and more.
