As the title says, I have a super hard to find 1990 Volvo 744 with SE body kit and factory M46 manual transmission! So onto the car... I bought it back in May in barely running condition. The car had been sitting for two years and ran awful. I spent my entire summer getting the car back in operating condition. New parts: Timing belt and Tensioner Water pump Full tune up with Iridium Spark Plugs New in-tank and inline fuel pumps New valve seals, and hushers, valves lapped. Fuel Injectors rebuilt Intake Manifold professionally cleaned New O2 sensor New battery New Head Gasket Valve Cover Gasket Intake Manifold Gasket Exhaust Manifold Gaskets Cam seal and Intermediate Shaft seal. Turbo changed from a worn out T25, to freshly rebuilt TD04 13C Mitsubishi Turbo. The car runs awesome now! It pulls really hard and if you've never driven a 740 Turbo with a manual, you're missing out. The Manual Transmission really makes a huge difference. The Transmission shifts great, no grinding or popping out of gear. Over Drive Engages and works flawlessly. The car was bought in Tennessee and has no rust any where on the car. The underside is extremely clean. Body is straight. The car has 182,500mi. The bad: NEEDS PAINT: The pictures make it look a lot better than it is. The car was resprayed by the previous owner and it looks awful. The clear coat is coming off in various places, especially the hood. The body kit has a few blemishes, the front bumper has a few small cracks, the rear bumper has a piece broken off right above the tailpipe, it is maybe an inch and a half across at most. All the imperfections are easily repairable. The driver's seat has rips in it. The passenger seat is showing its age, but no rips. Rear seat has a white spot on it from spilled paint(?) The car comes with 7 wheels. That's right, 7. When I purchased the car, it came with 3 O.Z wheels and one Volvo Hydra. So I bought 4 more Hydras to install on the car. The car is currently located half an hour south of Atlanta, Georgia in Stockbridge. The car could make a drive to California and back with out a problem, so if you're bidding on the car from out of state, have no worries. The car is running awesome and will bring years of reliable performance to the next owner! All in all its a great car and a great find. Let me know if you have any questions!
