Bought GTO in 1979 with intention to restore it. Drove intermittently through 1992. Stalled project car and needs new home. VIN number matches on both car and engine. Bucket seats, his and hers. Hurst shifter in the floor. Console. Stainless steel rocker panel, windshield trim, and wheel well opening chrome in good usable condition. Floorboards on driver's side and under rear seat needs patch panels. Engine runs, no smoke, good oil pressure. Transmission has new kit installed, shifted good drove to storage area. Trunk floor has rust damage--see pictures. Hood has had repair to damage on bottom inside--two patch panels. Crowel has some rust damage. Core support has been repaired and painted. Grille inserts are straight and usable; grille insert holders need to be replaced. Passenger side fender has been repaired. Patch panels welded in lower section of passenger side fender behind the tire. Passenger side door has rust damage--been cut out but not fully repaired. Passanger side quarter panel has small hole behind wheel. Small dent in back right side quarter panel, some filler. Usual rust around back window. Trunk has some rust damage to it. Driver's side quarter panel has rust holes around the back. Rust in wheel well behind the tire. Driver's door is repaired and in good shape. Driver's side fender has patch panel welded in bottom side. Some surface rust on top of car. Restorable but will require good bit of work. Included also: rechromed front and rear bumpers with brackets; rechromed headlight trim; new rear tail light panel--GM parts; chrome hood scoop; new quarter panel and rocker panel emblems--orginal GM and still in box; new dark blue carpet and pad for entire floorboard; front seats have been recovered in aquamarine vinyl and have enough matching vinyl to recover back seats; all glass useable except windshield; new power booster and master cylinder; new lines on front, enough material to do the rear; new rubber hoses for brakes; new gas tank; new battery tray; and a set of eyebrow plates.
