This numbers matching 1970 Triumph TR6R is up for auction. This basket case project bike will sell with a clear title. The motor stand pictured is not included with the sale of this project bike! The motor is locked up, but complete. It does not appear to have been taken apart and tampered with. It will need a complete disassembly and rebuild. Most of the major parts for this project are accounted for; however it is missing parts and hardware. Here is a short list of some of the important missing parts. Fork tubes and fork internals Center and side stands Carburetor (You can buy a brand new Amal 930 ready to bolt on for $185) Lots of nuts, bolts, and washers Kick starter Wiring hardness Chain guard Handlebars Hand Controls Instruments Other odds and ends This is a good start to a full on restoration, but you will have to source missing parts and refurbish/restore everything pictured here. Some of the parts pictured here are damaged, such as the cracked rear fender, and headlight shell with small dent. The gas tank is the correct 3.5 gallon tank for a 1970 TR6R, it is in very useable shape for a restoration.This is an old dusty and beat up motorcycle that will require lots of time and money invested; and it is sold as is.
