up for sale is my 1965 corvair monza 140. I am the 3rd owner. I've owned this car for the last 11 years and loved it very much. this corvair is in excellent running condition and has just been on a 1000+ mile road trip last summer with no issues other than a loose battery cable! recent work in the past year includes re-sealing the rear window, new front windshield (the old had a bad scratch). one side head welded and machined after spark plug blowout. features:electronic ignitioncustom front spoilercustom upholstery and carpetpowder coated all sheet metal in engine compartmentelectric fuel pump with driver accessible kill switchmachined cast iron aftermarket oil pan with cooling finsfull sized spare tire in good conditiontires with plenty of tread leftchrome rimsmuch more cons:could use new paintsome rust under rear quarter panels/ new steel available through corvair parts supplierssome upholstery bad where sun baked the tops of the seats, could be repaired, mostly in great condition contact me for questions or for more pictures On Jan-20-12 at 12:16:34 PST, seller added the following information: !!UPDATE!! after opening the door on the car this morning I noticed a leak around the windshield dripping onto the driver side seat and carpet, I'm a bit saddened that the newly replaced windshield is already leaking, it was replaced last summer and had no issues until now. It has recently snowed and been heavy rain. no damage done, I am drying out the seat and carpet now.
