*****THIS VEHICLE IS BEING RELISTED DUE TO A NON BUYER***** Here I have a 1985 Ford Mustang GT AOD carburated convertible. I purchased this vehicle a month or so ago for a project that I decided to go another route with; so I no longer need this vehicle. I do not know much about the car, I haven't owned it for long, I did a quick once over when it was delivered to my shop and that's about it. I drove it once, which was to the DMV to get a VIN verification when I transfered the title into my name. What I have found to be done to the vehicle when I did my look over- It is a stock 302 block bored over to a 306, it has a Holley 4 barrell carb (I'm not sure of the CFM,) has a Holley blue pump fuel pump with firewall regulator, has a full MSD setup (distributor, wires and ignition control module.) Exhaust on the vehicle looks to be a 2.5" MAC possibly, with shorty headers. The previous owner did not know much about the vehicle either, so did not know the extent of the engine internals, I'm not sure what type of heads are on it, I could not find a head code from the glance over that I did. Although it has FRPP "Powered by Ford" valve covers. Although it is an '85 someone had put a 87-93 GT front clip, side skirts, rear bumper and tail lights on it, and had primered the entire car. Body work is not ready for paint, the car needs some TLC to get it ready. The vehicle has been converted to 5 lug disk all the way around from an SN95 V6 mustang. It has SN front hubs and spindles, as well a disk SN 7.5" rear, not sure of the gear ratio. As for the interior, it is dark gray and has 87-93 dark grey cloth front seats. the interior overall is in decent shape, needs some trim pieces here and there to finish things up. Something is off on the tune of the carb, it runs a little rough until it's warmed up, but the car DOES run and drive, I drove it from my shop to the DMV when I transferred the title over into my name after I purchased the vehicle, which is about a 15 minute ride each way. This is a perfect PROJECT car, for anyone who knows foxbody mustangs, this is a great car to have. THIS CAR IS NO WHERE NEAR PERFECT, IF IT WAS I WOULD BE SELLING IT FOR MUCH MORE THAN I AM. I just need it out of my way, but would make a great project vehicle for anyone who likes to wrench. The title for the vehicle is CLEAR and IN MY HAND.
