Offered once again, due to the high bidder disappearing at the close of auction, is a very nice 1979 Ford F250 4x4. This truck was partially restored a little over ten years ago including new paint, wheels and tires, new front and rear chrome bumper, spray in bed liner, rebuilt engine, and interior upgrades. It has only been driven about two thousand miles since the work was done. The engine is a rebuilt 460, with an RV2 cam, stainless valves, aluminum intake and Holley carb. It runs very strong. The C6 transmission, transfer case and front and rear differentials are believed to be in original condition and are not known to have been rebuilt. It did however get new hubs and brakes. The underside/frame are in original, unrestored condition. This truck was originally equipped with AC however some of the components including the compressor are missing. The interior was upgraded with a new seat cover, new carpet and an AM/FM/CD player. This truck has been in the high desert for many years so the body and frame are rust free. I did find one spot of rust on the fuel tank shield and included a photo. This truck is a great driver and a great value for the money. Reserve has been set very reasonable.
