Diesel

Ford F-550 XLT. One owner. We bought this new and to our specifications. Diesel, giant automatic auxiliary fuel tank, air conditioning, comfortable seats, Winkle Manufacturing steel bed, toolbox, highway tires with massive tread left, 238,621 miles. Fundamentally only serviced by Haven Ford and then Lubbers. Bought for towing our gooseneck trailer. All but the last 3,000 miles are highway miles. We used it as a backup truck for the last 4 or 5 years. This is the first diesel we ever owned. It was a strong tuck when we did a bunch of across country travel. A few years ago we stopped traveling and it has mostly sat. We installed automatic battery chargers and it simply stayed plugged in and was always ready to go as a backup vehicle. This vehicle is rust free and accident free. Week before last the motor cratered. (I don’t know why.) The truck will run but has what appears to be a dead cylinder. Assume the motor is junk. Truck is as is where is. Winner must pay $500 within 24 hours of auction closed and full payment within one week. We will store vehicle for one week after auction ends. PayPal is acceptable for full payment. If deposit not paid within 24 hours and full vehicle not paid within one week of auction closing, purchase will be nullified, nasty feedback left and I will call your mother to tell her you don’t follow rules. You are welcome to inspect this vehicle during normal business hours. Inspection is before the auction ends not if you win it. If you buy it sight unseen, you get it the way it is. You are not welcome to drive it. As I said, it runs and I want to keep it that way for the next owner. Do not plan on driving this vehicle very far. The motor is very sick. I will not part this vehicle. Don’t ask. If it does not sell, I will keep the tires, bed and auxiliary fuel tank for my new F550 which is a gas engine. You will not be disappointed in anything if you go into the deal knowing that the motor is shot. Otherwise, it is in better shape and was maintained better than any truck around. Sold As Is.
