AUTOMATIC 2001 Volkswagen Golf GL Two Door hatchback 2.0 liter engine, black interior. One owner. Good gas mileage. Approximately 106,000 miles. Starts and runs fine but the check engine light comes on and off. Brand new timing belt & water pump 2011. New brakes within the past two years. Mechanic checked into the "check engine light" issue & replaced the oxygen sensor approximately spring of 2011, but the light still comes on & off. Alloy wheels. Probably could use new tires. Passed the Illinois Air Team emissions test with no problems August 2011. Some paint chipped on rear bumper. There's some slight surface rust by the passenger door all the way at the bottom on the hinge side. The driver's side door is dented in from being bumped into by someone who didn't leave a note. No paint damage or scratch from it; it's just dented in. Door is still functional. The trunk latch opens only manually with the key. Includes one valet key and two electronic remote keys. The mat on the driver's side has a hole in it. Basically a really good car but needs a little TLC. Oil last changed November 2011 with new wiper blades. New battery August 2011.
