If you are looking to build a 1969 dodge charger r/t, this is the car to start with, no question!! you will not find a better already done floor pan set up and frame rail set up on any project you look at. THE CAR HAS NEW QUARTERS AND THE FLOOR PANS ARE AMAZING AS ARE THE FRAME RAILS!! here is a photobucket with more pictures http://s972.photobucket.com/albums/ae208/garymendy/1969rt/ (please note that the drivers door that comes with the car is in the pictures with the parts on the floor, not the one that is hung on the car in any of the pics) the charger r/t was originally a 440 auto on the floor with slapstick and console car... the car does come with a restorable console that has the top plates and rear trim piece. the fender tag comes with the car and it is very readable..some of the decode is as follows: tachometer am 8 track please note the original three speaker dash frame is in great great shape r/t stripe power disc brakes console with bucket seats f-5 f-5 c6g f-8 913 137517 remote left hand mirror vin is xs29L9g122xxx The r/t also comes with a rare 66 dated 440 and a 727 trans. the motor does turn some in each direction, so it is not frozen, but it does not turn completely around. not sure why, so you should plan on using the motor as the base for a build. These frame rails are already detailed out over all of the car and they look amazing. let's be truthful, a lot of us dream of putting in new frame rails and floor pans and quarterpanels etc...but how many of us have those incredible skills to pull it off. YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT THAT HERE, IT IS ALREADY DONE!! This car already had thousands of dollars of work professional done at a body shop before the owner lost interest and decided to move on to something else. much fo the car as you can see was already jammed out in green and these folks were getting ready to paint the car...there is an area in the right rear trunk gutter that needs work and we will include a piece of trunk gutter than can be used for this fix..the car also needs some work on the right side of the roof toward the rear..this does not seem to be a huge issue as the charger should be wearing a vinyl top... The car also comes with a couple of very nice front fenders that that have been worked on and are very very serviceable. the car will come with two doors and a trunk lid, but these have not been worked on as of yet. the charger will come with a front valance that is picutred... the r/t will not come with a hood but does come with driver quality hood hinges. the car does come with the dash cluster shown, so you have a start on that piece of the restoration as well. note that the tail light cover which is always missing is included it will come with all glass except the front windshield..the RARE back glass is pictured with the car. the high back bucket mopar seats shown in the pics go with the car as does the correct half of the back seat. these seats are for restore. the car comes as pictured with the parts that are laid out on the floor next to it. You will be getting a rather full set of trim. roof rail trim, rear window, front window, door tops and quarter window..this trim is in driver shape and will need to be worked and polished to be show quality, but it is a great place to start as the trim can be expensive. the r/t will also come with inside roof trim and headliner bows. the long pieces that hold the weather stripping on top of the quarter windows and door windows is also included. also included are interior door handles, arm rests, arm rest backing plates and screws and washers to assemble and install this stuff..these items can be used for a budget build no problem. there are some door panels included as well. please note the exhaust that is shown on the floor next to the car..it is a solid exhaust system and could be used as it came off a 70 charger and is in good shape..all the cars steering box is in in the car as is the ignition switch.. there is a pair of tail lights that come with the car...one is very useable, the other has a small piece missing and would need to be repaired or changed out. it also comes with bumper cores and the rear bumper brackets are intact and nice! the car is for sale locally, so we reserve the right to end the auction, but we are planning on it selling here on ebay. if you have questions, please call me at 440-522-0048.
