1971 Ford LTD Convertible for sale. Car is in overall good shape. It has the stock automatic transmission and ford 400 engine. The transmission has been rebuilt, of which I have receipts for. The interior is in good shape, the drivers seat has a rip in it. This car has the factory console shifter and bucket seats, which is somewhat rare. It has the original radio, which works, and there is a hookup in the glove compartment for a newer style stereo/cd player. All the original gauges on the car still work.It has A/C, but the compressor is locked up. The electric top works fine. I have the original steering wheel and a new dash for the car--I had always planned to take out the tach and steering wheel, and make it all original but never did. The car has new bf goodrich radial T/A's, and new "magnum wheels". The tires and rims have less than 400 miles on them. Black is not the original color, it was originally a champagne color, then someone painted red, and it was black when I bought it three years ago. The paint is in decent condition, a few scratches but nothing major. The car has an exhaust leak, and could benefit from some new exhaust. It has some surface rust on the bottom side of the floorboards, but nothing major. This is not a "restored" car. I have tried to describe it as best I can, and be as truthful as possible. This is a car that you can leave it as is, and drive it and enjoy it all you want, as I have done..or you can spend some money and restore it. It is a good dependable convertible that needs very little, you can drive anywhere, and turns heads wherever you go.
