If you follow Vegassstang, then you know all about us, our cars and our customers cars. This is the real DEAL, very straight very hard to find, a Nevada car with no rust. This 1967 Fastback GTA is validated by Haggerty as such. One of the very rare 289 225HP GTA fastbacks produced in 1967. The engine was rebuilt about 1,500 miles ago (but the odometer reads 87,710), the C-4 about 400 miles ago. it has had the original carb replaced by an Edelbrock 4bbl with an Edelbrock intake, but is the original A Code, engine, exhaust manifolds etc. This beautiful fastback has power assist front disc brakes from the factory and rear drums. As you will see in the photo's it has been maintained well but never restored. No rust, floor pans are factory, doors fenders everything the original sheet metal. The grill and fog lamps are new, and the fogs are not connected although the wiring is new and present. You will notice the dealer undercoating which has protected the sub frame and pans well all these years. The hood turn signals work as they did in 1967. The radio has been replaced with the Mustang aftermarket version with CD and cassette. Front kick panels include Pioneer speakers plus rear speakers are also included. The Burgandy paint was done about 6 months ago, The headliner was replaced when the paint was done.It also has new door panels, carpet and seat covers and dash which are all correct for this car. It comes with a grant steering wheel (which needs the horn connected), factory emblems and insignias. It is a factory center console car with the original working equipment. Notice the straight body and lines. Rims are Torque Thrust with BF Goodrich tires, less than 1000 miles. In addition to the fog lamps needing to be connected, the parking brake assembly also needs to be connected, plus the horns. We would be happy to go through the punch list for the winning bidder, or you can complete these items yourself. The leafs are original and could be replaced as they are a little tired, plus you may consider new door rubber. The front suspension is all new, tie rods, connecting sleeves, etc. It has a new gas tank. This car is as advertised, not only is it a near original 1967 fastback, but with its rarety and the fact it has not been chopped and mangled makes this one of the truly desired 67 fastbacks out there.You will find the price is not only reasonable, but below what you would expect for this car.   We will keep this fastback for sale locally, you are welcome to tet drive it with an appointmnet.
