This is the very popular E30 body style and is identical to the later E30 318is in appearance. It has the same front and rear spoilers and of course those great looking BBS wheels. It is powered by BMW's high revving 2.5 liter DOHC 6 cylinder engine with the new and improved for '87 "Motronic" fuel injection. It is quite smooth and powerful and puts out 169 Horsepower. The ZF 4 Speed 4 HP 22 automatic transmission gives it that sporty feel and only adds to it's ease of drivability. This beautiful BMW is also equipped with 4 wheel anti-lock disc brakes for your safety. This particular example was recently traded at the local VW/Subaru dealer. It is a pampered two owner car that has lived in the same warm garage since 2001. It is in Amazing condition and is sure to please all of you purists out there. It has only traveled 117,000 miles since new, which is just under 5,000 miles per year. Well below average for any pre-owned car, and Especially a BMW that you make excuses to drive. It appears to have been someone's baby, and was probably a cherished member of the family! This car is simply put "Just Gorgeous!!". It is ALL original, and has not been modified in ANY way. It is Exactly the way it left the factory in 1987 with the exception of the paint on the hood, and of course routine maintenance items like tires etc. I have been driving this wonderful 325is for several days and it has been an absolute Pleasure. Just like taking a trip back in time(I had a 76 530i in the mid 80's, AND a 74 3.0CS that I owned for 25 years), when these cars were King of the hill, and really WERE the ultimate Driving Machine!!!!! Real Auctions.....$1 to start and LOW RESERVE....Now THAT'S an Auction.... The exterior is Bronzit Beige Metallic and is in excellent condition, Especially for a 25 year old car. The paint is bright and shiny and shows no signs of damage. All of the little VIN stickers are in place, indicating no panel replacement. Paint is Original, with the exception of the hood, and shows NO fading or hazing as most of these do, indicating it was always garaged. There is a small rust blister around the left license light. It is quite minor and there is a photo below. Also there is some rust through at the very bottom of the right front fender, again quite minor. The front spoiler is showing some "wear" in the photos, and has since been repaired. The 14" factory BBS alloy wheels really stand out and add to it's already sporty appearance. There are about 40 photographs below, so that you can take a tour of the entire car...from outside to inside. Even the trunk and the engine compartments are shown..Please take the time to let all of them load, we're sure that you will be just delighted. The interior is Black leather and is in beautiful condition, showing almost no wear at all. The Recaro type seats are very sporty and look just great. The drivers side has been dyed to freshen it's appearance. This is a non-smokers car and is exceptionally clean inside. It has power windows and mirrors. A sliding sunroof that also tilts up in the rear, and the factory installed AM FM Stereo cassette still sounds fantastic. The Air Conditioning blows ice cold and all of the accessories and options work correctly with the exception of the light in the OBC(If someone tells me how to change it, I will be glad to). This wonderful 1987 BMW 325is has just been safety checked and inspected. The exhaust is new, and We have had the oil and filter changed. It has been fully detailed for your excitement. The four matching radials are about 50%. They will be fine for local driving, but due to age, should probably be replaced for long distance travel. We have the original books and manuals, along with some of the service stamps. I've spoken with the shop that has serviced this Amazings E30 since about 2004. I have been told that the previous owner took Excellent car of this BMW, and that the timing belt was Just replaced in June of 2011 at 115,000 miles. This is an Extremely Nice running and driving BMW. It is mechanically and cosmetically in Wonderful condition and will give the lucky winning bidder many years of enjoyment.
