This is a 1972 Buick Skylark Custom Convertible dressed in beautiful Stratomist blue paint with a white vinyl convertible top, all complimented by its white vinyl interior. That combination of colors really takes your breath away! Park this car anywhere and it draws a crowd.
This Skylark Custom came originally with a 350CID 2bbl engine. It currently has a very healthy 455CID Buick engine! It’s been treated to a few “extras” such as an electric cooling fan, (a real nice piece that keeps this engine cool at idle and in traffic, no overheating), as well as a chrome alternator and set of chrome valve covers. This engine pulls strong at any rpm in and the automatic transmission shifts right on point. You can take this car anywhere with confidence that it will not disappoint in power and appearance.
The exterior of the vehicle is again, finished in factory correct Stratomist blue paint. We have found no major dents or rust issues with the vehicle. All of the panels are straight and we have found no evidence of body filler or patch panels. The chrome is good, very straight and NOT dented. There is some minor pitting which is very common simple fix, or just leave it and enjoy it the way it is. The Crager S/S wheels are always a favorite and give this much understated muscle car a great look and stance. Since this is a southern car it has not been exposed to any winter weather or salty roads!
The interior of the car is a nice bright white vinyl. The seats are in good condition with no rips, stains, or tears. The carpet is also in good condition with no holes or fraying.
Please remember that this Skylark Custom is 39 years old. One cannot expect a vehicle that has been driven fairly regularly and not restored to be in show quality condition.
