This auction is for my 1989 Porsche Carrera 911 with Targa Top. After many years of love and care, I have decided to sell my baby. I am the second owner of this incredible car. I have owned it for over 20 years, always keeping it garaged. It is a black-on-black beauty with less than 63,000 miles. It has a Targa top and is completely stock with the exception of a new high end stereo system and a new muffler with a nice "throaty" sound. The car has a clean Carfax report. The only know issues are some chips in the front of the car due to road rocks and there is minor deterioration on the lower portion of the driver side door threshold rubber (see photo). This vehicle has always been in a smoke-free environment. Hopefully someone who can really appreciate the engineering of this vehicle will give it a new home. On Jan-02-12 at 11:18:40 PST, seller added the following information: 01/02/2012 Update - An E-Bay interested party recently asked for pictures of the VIN numbers. I found the VIN number on the driver side center post (see photo) and on the driver side windshield. I did not find a VIN number under the hood. I did find the paint decal under the hood and the engine number under the engine hood. I don't know if this is an issue but in the interest of full disclosure I wanted to pass this along to all interested parties. I have also added photos of maintenance records and a picture of the underhood. It looks perfect (a few very minor scratches) but I am not an expert. Concerning the VIN number under the hood - I found it. An E-Bay interested party asked that I remove the carpet under the hood and take some pictures. When I did that I found the VIN number stamped into the body just above the spare tire. I hope this helps! Thanks...
