You are bidding on a 2005 Dodge Sprinter High Top, with extended cargo (158" wheel base). I am the 2nd owner of the vehicle and did most of the maintenance myself. I do have several service receipts that I have obtained from the original owner. The engine was replaced at 613,000 miles. The replaced engine has 179, 383 miles on it. Most of the miles are highway miles traveling from east coast to west coast. As you can see from the miles, this truck has been maintained pretty well and has been a great runner. Why am I selling the vehicle, well unfortunately we have been having a series of "Cranking, No Start" issues within the last two weeks. After filling up with fuel the vehicle would not start and needed to be towed. We had it taken to a dealer who was able to start the vehicle twice but reported the following codes; Glow Plugs, Glow Plug Module, P2043 (CAM Sensor) P2045 (Crank Sensor). After replacing both sensors, the vehicle is still reporting the P2043 (CAM Sensor, open circuit) even though the wiring checked out fine. The vehicle compression and fuel pressures are good, 60K psi from low pump, 5300 psi (cranking) on fuel rail, fuel leak test was conducted and sufficient. Starter, CAM and Crank ring tones are fine. The dealer then said it was the ECM, so I purchased and programmed an ECM but it did not change anything. Because I need to support my customers I can no longer spend anymore time or money so I have decided to tow the vehicle to a storage facility and list it for sale. Interior: The interior is gray in color and is in pretty good shape. Will need to be cleaned. The seats are in decent shape, I have always used seat covers. Some of the cent louvers are missing. The right arm rest on drivers side is missing. The vehicle has a fire extinguisher. Exterior: The exterior of the vehicle is white in color. The vehicle was originally purchased in Michigan so as you can see from the photos it has a variety of "Sprinter" rust spots. There is no major dents, but there is several paint chips, nicks, scratches, etc. (Please see photos) Tires: The tires consist of 3 Kelly Safari E rated tires and 1 Michalin E rated. The tread is approximately 70-75%. (Due for rotation) The brakes and rotors have been replaced and are in good shape. Suspension: The suspension has been replaced, new shocks on front and back along with ball joints. Engine: Mercedes 2.7/ 5 cyl deisel engine. Has had many new exterior engine components; (See Below) New Parts within 6 Months: ECM, SKREEM Module, Radiator w/lines, new starter (6 days old), new idle tensioner, surpentine belt, water pump, CAM/Crank Sensors (3 days old), Fuel Filter (3 Days old), fuel rail return lines (3 Days Old), Air Filter, Turbo Resignator, Shocks, Brakes, Rotors. Because the vehicle is located in Arkansas and I am not physically there, the transaction will have to be performed electronically through Ebay. Once full payment has been made, I will Overnight the Bill of Sale, Title, and Key Fob. I will send this via FedEx with tracking and signature required. I have informed the storage manager of the sale and I have all of his contact information. He will be very coorperative and supportive of the transaction. This auction is a "No Reserve" auction. This vehicle will sell to the highest buyer regardless of price. The vehicle is being sold "AS IS" and does not come with any warranties or guaruntees. The sale of this vehicle is final and I have described the conditions accurately and to the best of my ability. Please understand that this vehicle is located in Benton, AR. It will be the buyers responsibility to retreive the vehicle from the storage facility. Currently the vehicle can NOT be driven and must be towed to a new location. Once the vehicle has been completely paid for, I will work with you and allow the vehicle to stay in storage for a reasonable time.
