1959 Austin Healey Sprite.This car is free of rust and corrosion having been in New Mexico for its' 50+ years.I would describe this car as very good condition overall.Mechanically it has been put in to reliable and safe operating condition with the brake system redone.The engine starts and runs well with good compression and no visible smoke.The car shifts fine with no noises or sloppiness in the transmission.The car is very presentable as is but would require a new paint job to stand out.The existing paint has some flaking,crazing and a few scratches here and there.The passenger side mirror glass is missingand the horn works intermittantly There is no rust repair and no other body work required.The interior looks good and the car is complete.It comes with the front bumper which is not currently bolted on,a tonneau cover,side curtains,and convertable frame with top.The engine is the original 948cc with 08,301 showing on the odometer.Engine number is: 9CG-Da-H 13454.Body number is: AN5L/13254.This car would not require much time or money to restore to a high standard.There is a youtube video that can be viewed on Craigslist.org in Albuquerque where the car is also posted.I was not able to add the link to this posting.Thanks,Ron @ (505) 228-5572
