A women had this motorcycle in her garage for 60 years. She said her husband who passed away, was the original owner.She could not find any paper work. It"s a Matchless 51/G 80 S 500cc 17917. The motor kicks over. Lot's of compression. I had to borrow a kick starter lever to kick it over. The gears shift through all gears smoothly. The original seat, oil tank, handlebars, carburetor, shocks, forks, rims, etc are there. The fenders, and kick starter lever were missing.
