Vehicle Detail
2000 GSXR 750Lowered in Front/RearM4 Slip on ExhaustOil and Oil Filter was changed @ 15,500 milesRadiator Coolant flushed/replaced about 100 miles ago ( yes, used disttilled water, and bled the air correctly) Stator/Rectifier fried due to lousy mechanic not insulating spliced wires. I replaced stator/rectifier/battery shortly before oil change. Stator is hardwired, so no coupling. (that's how it came to me..) Does not affect performance. Always used premium gas w/ injector cleaner additive from Lucas. NEVER WHEELIED. CLEAN TITLE IN HAND Recently laid down on Nov. 14th, since then, bike has been driven 3 times. Gears shifted fine from 1st through 6th, still pulls strong. Haven't gone too crazy since accident, but opened her up hard in 1st and she got to 60 easy; i've seen her do 70 in 1st gear no problem. In fly-by video, i pass the camera going about 97mph. Nearly all damaged sustained on left side of motorcycle. Tank escaped miraculously unscathed. Shift lever/footpeg on left side were unharmed. Lever/footpeg on right side fine as well. Wheel got tweaked to left side, so I loosened triple tree clamps and straightened it out; it appears to be fine, but I cannot guarantee it's integrity, nor the integrity of the frame. Frame has no dents, but tabs on gas tank do not line up correctly with holes in frame; right tab only shows about half the hole where bolt inserts.. I've been told this indicates a bent frame. It was like that before the wreck, but I only found out recently what it might indicate. Motor sounds strong, and revs fine. In video, left hand blinker does not work, but after a few days of riding it should come back on. This sounds insane, but that light always went out when i let the bike sit for a few days. Then, miraculously, after a long ride or a few days riding, turn signal would work again. Cannot guarantee though. Also, after recent paint job, never reconnected front flush mount signals, but wiring and everything is there, and they do work fine. If you wish to see any additional pictures, or if you would like to know anything else about the bike, do not hesitate to contact me. Video was taken 12-24-2011 Video was taken 12-24-2011
