1984 Recaro Trans Am, Original 5 speed, WS6, Black T-top, rust free California car. Have Car Fax on car all the way back to 1992. P/S P/B P/W loaded. This car is a real Recaro manual. It's about 300 made out of 1320 Recaro T/A's made in 1984. Last year for this body kit style, first year for 5 speed and 5.0 HO motor. Car runs and drives great. Last owner had motor, clutch, trans all rebuilt. Also had new distributor and rebuilt original carb done. Since I had this car I installed new High ration steering box, idler arm, and new rag joint so this front end is super tight. Brake hoses, pads and rotors changed by last owner as well as new speakers and stereo installed. Rest of interior is all original. I also added a new trans mount, wires, plugs and a set of hooker headers. The car has original cowl induction air clearner for functional hood. I also kepted the original manifolds and air emission equipment in a box. Car has a nice GT grant wheel with original wheel in trunk with extra and original T-top bag. T-top are pin not hook style with glass no plexi-glass. The car has the factory install triangle braces under hood from frame to cross member on both sides. Car is also equiped with its original 3.73 Posi rear, WS6 suspension is heathly and hugs road like a new car. The last owner also installed new tires on GTA black rims. The car looks better and handles great. Tires are Hankook Directional 340 A A. Has flow master muffler style muffler with factory exhaust pipe/tips and 4 wheel disc brakes. Head lights and all other lights all work and go up and down no problem. Must see and lost job must sell. This car is a fun car and has been to a few shows since I owed it. Car was almost never driven first 14 years of itgs life according to ebay report. 82- 84 is most coveted years to get, not just because of the first run of third gen t/a's, but because of the age now and rarity of special models and of coarse Knight Rider. this car is loaded with all options and even has rear wiper. Car also has new winshield with paperwork from safelight auto glass company and is 100% correct with new molding. Car has normal firebird issues any car of this type would normally have after 5 years of age and this cars is 28. Car has small inperfections in paint, door panels, seat fade, normal west coast stuff. Y-pipe is off right now because headers were installed. Its been crazy around the holidays to get it bolted up but car is ready to go anywhere. Any other questions should be answered by photo's or just ask.
