up for bid is a very nice 1966 el camino there is so much to list on this car ......i will just touch on the key things and if you have more questions just ask away and i will be happy to answer to the best of my knowledge .....ive had this car for just under 10 yrs.......ive done everything but a frame off on this car. ok so here goes,the car has a brand new mild 355 ci with a 4 barrel holley ,thumper cam ,hooker comp headers (ceramic coated) pulley system is a gm perf serpentine belt set up with a/c set up .......a/c set up in car is vintage air....motor runs flawless and i have every reciept ..........exhaust is custom bent 3inch all the way to the back....as for tranny its a tko 600 five speed and the 5th gear is a blessing on the freeway, clutch is a 11inch hays dual friction heavy dty set up .........the rear end is a gm 12 bolt all new including heavy duty axles ,new eaton posi,all new bearings and seals and a richmond 4.10 gear ratio, rear suspension is all adjustable hotchkis ........tires are all new BFG TA as are the billet specialties polished 5 star wheels.....brakes are standard front disk and rear drum...this car has all new upholstery with procar bucket seats, ididit tilt column, custom sound system ,custom console,custom covens dash with all auto meter gauges.as for the exterior it was all media blasted before i started the car restore ,all rust was cut out and replaced with new metal .....car has a 4 inch cowl hood, smoothed firewall and finished with the same color as car in engine compartment ...front end was totally gone thru ,new close ratio steering box with all new bushings and from and rear hotchkis sway bars.....i can go on and on .. i totally went overboard on this car but it was my first rest job and i know i will never get what i got into it but i just cant give it away either lol....car isnt perfect but shows and drives great happy bidding ...
