Here is a very nice little 1957 Chevy ½ ton short step side truck. This is the last one we are going to do. We have sold several of these on Ebay with no complaints and very satisfied buyers. We will work with you any way we can. This truck was put together with the best parts we could come up with including many new parts. The frame, rear end, all suspension, and body are all GM and belong to the truck. The tail gate and roll pan were modified to give it a hot rod look. The truck was going to receive a sub frame and rear end from a Camero but we decided to leave it all stock in case someone wanted to restore it back to original. The engine and tranny came from a 79 Camero. It was bought as a 350/350 but turned out to be a 305 with a TH350. Still a good engine. We installed a big cam because we were going to put dual 4’s on it but changed our minds. So it has a new cam and lifters, timing components, Weiend manifold, Carter AFB, chrome shorty headers, chrome valve covers, chrome timing cover, chrome dust cover, chrome deep sump tranny pan, polished aluminum oil pan, chrome one wire alternator, electric cooling fan, cross members from Brother’s, after market gauges, and a floor shifter. The engine was checked for compression with 130 at all cylinders. Bearings were checked and were excellent. The trans is a TH350 with no modifications except for the pan. The truck is a project and is not yet road worthy. Engine wise it is wired. Everything else needs to be wired. We never checked the heater out. All lights need to be hooked up as well as the wipers, horn, heater, and some gauges if you want them original. The master cylinder leaks a little and needs to be rebuilt. It needs an o-ring on the tranny dipstick tube. One rear axle seal leaks and the rear brakes need replaced. New brakes from Summit are included. The truck is very nice but not a show truck. A couple days work and it could be a daily driver. These are getting harder to find every day in this condition. We have checked every where. Truck is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranty implied. You buy it and it is yours. Truck is also for sale locally so we reserve the right to end the auction early if it sells.
