Vehicle Detail

Normal 0 false false false EN-US JA X-NONE 1964 Chevrolet Impala SS This is a one-of-a-kind 64 Impala that has been completely tricked out. This car was built by the one and only West Cost Customs in California….The same company that was featured on MTV’s “Pimp my Ride”. They are a world renowned car customization company that does unparalleled quality work. I purchased the car from West Coast Customs in 2005 and have done nothing with it since other than use it as a garage decoration. I had 2 kids back to back and haven’t had time or money to enjoy this amazing car. As the kids get older, the bills get bigger, so unfortunately, its time to sell this car. More than $64,000 was put into this car to make it what it is today. It was taken completely down to the frame, reinforced for hydraulics, chromed out and built back up. There are just a few minor fixes that need to be addressed that I don’t have the time or money to deal with, so unfortunately for me, this is an opportunity to get a “pimped out” classic for a ridiculous price. -1964 Chevrolet Impala SS Black -350 Engine with electric fan -Built by West Coast Customs in California -Chrome everywhere. Entire underside, engine, brakes, hydraulics -Edelbrock Carb -14 battery competition hydraulic system -Hydraulic system with 4 switches, 3 wheel motion, front & Back AND hops. That’s right… this system was built to be a competition show hopper. It was built strong enough to support this application and the front can hop 6’. -New interior -LED light dash -Tape player with 6 disc CD changer & bazooka tube -Glass Packs … much more…. Now for the stuff that needs to be fixed. If you know how to tinker around with cars, these are super easy fixes that can be done quickly and cheaply… -Both antennas are broken off -Missing the SS badges on the back of the car (see pics) -Car starts and idols good, but slight hesitation when gas is applied. Needs tune-up -Fuel gauge isn’t hooked up to the LED digital dash -Solenoid bad on rear right side hydraulic. ($20 part) -One of the hydraulic motors is bad. ($200 fix) -Choke sticks a little bit -The 14 batteries used for the hydraulics might be bad. I bought new ones, charged them once and they have been sitting ever since, so their condition is unknown. -Recently started the car to get ready to sell and the oil pan gasket sprung a leak. Sitting too long without running caused this problem. Again, pretty easy fix. The car was running great before storage, so I know with a few minor repairs, she will be back to perfect. The pictures are all recently taken. The car obviously needs to be cleaned and polished completely. There are a few scuff/scratches that look like they could be buffed out. The car was perfect when I got it, but it acquired some dust and scuffs during the storage. Follow the link below to see what she looks like all cleaned up. These pics were taken when I bought it. With a little elbow grease, it will look this sharp again. cardomain.com/ride/813589/1964-chevrolet-impala#8135890008 I'm selling this car for a close friend.
