Up for auction is a 2005 Infiniti G35x sedan with 126,150 miles. This is a very well maintained, non-smoker vehicle. This vehicle's exterior color is a gorgeous Lakeshore Slate Metallic (bluish silver). The interior color is a very nice Grey leather which complements the exterior color quite well and was a major selling point for me when I purchased it. This car has every option for the model year, with the exception of wood dash and trim. If you are unfamiliar with 2005 Infiniti G35x sedans, they are well known for a combination of aggressive and attractive styling, powerful engine/power train performance, sporty handling balanced with a comfortable ride, all wheel drive (great in the Winter), as well as many standard luxury and convenience features. Most importantly, this car has a very high build quality and reliability that is the hallmark of Infiniti's parent company Nissan and like all Infinitis and Nissans, they have timing chains instead of belts (unlike most other makes) so that saves you from a major repair expense over 100,000 miles. If you haven't already, I recommend you do some research on the 2005 Infiniti G35x sedan on any major Automotive website like Edmunds, MSN Autos, Kelly Blue Book, etc. You will find a tremendous number of extremely positive unbiased reviews on how great this car continues to be over many years of dependable service. These cars are also known to run 300,000 miles or more and have bulletproof engines.This is especially true when the vehicle has been well maintained like this Infiniti has. Condition Report This Infiniti is in very good condition inside and out, again very well maintained and looks great for being 6 years of age. Receipts for all maintenance services I've had done since I purchased the car will be transferred to the winning bidder, along with the New Jersey title which I am holding. I had the car inspected by Lemon Squad and it scored 100% mechanically for a 6 year old car. In fact, the only major maintenance I've had to do since purchasing it was change the platinum spark plugs. Since that time, I also had the transmission fluid changed per the service manual schedule. I just recently had an oil and filter change at Ray Catena Infiniti in Edison, NJ so it's all set for at least 3,000 miles. The engine is strong, starting up easily every time and the transmission shifts smoothly. The heating system heats the car up quickly in the winter and the A/C blows ice cold in the summer. When I had the spark plugs changed about 3,000 miles ago, I was advised the brakes had 98% life remaining and you'll see that on the service receipt. Everything that you would expect to find is there, such as an owner's manual, full spare tire with wheel, wheel lock key, spare tire, jack and accessories, etc. In other words, there will be no surprises with this car. I am the second owner and this G35x has never been in an accident. You can check the eBay Motors included Autocheck report to verify that for yourself. The EPA estimates the mileage at 17 city/24 highway (I averaged about 21 mpg in mixed local and highway driving) which worked well for me. On the interior, the Grey leather seats are still in great shape with no tears, burns or holes in the leather. The dual driver/passenger front heated seats work perfectly when it gets cold, which you will enjoy if you live in a colder climate like NJ. The rear reclining seats and trunk area are likewise in very good condition. The included new grey all weather front and rear floor mats (see below for details) help protect the interior carpet and really keep any dirt and moisture contained as you track them into the car from outside. Factory mats will be in the car. All interior buttons, switches and lights are functioning as designed and the memory seats work great and are a really nice feature of the car. You'll enjoy the Bose audio system with CD changer and Sirius Satellite Radio (which I used daily). On the exterior, the Lakeshore Slate Metallic paint is in good condition, with only normal wear for a 6 year old car, which means there are a few small exterior scratches or dings in the paint due to everyday driving, including on the driver's side door and rear bumper (see photos). Several of the wheels also have some curb rash (i.e. scratches) also shown in the photos. There are 4 matching Hankook Ventus V4 ES size 215/55 R17 premium performance tires on the car and each tire has more than 75% of it's tread life remaining. The vehicle also has a valid NJ inspection sticker good through July 2013. I am telling you everything I observed visually so that you will know I am not hiding anything. So by now you might be wondering, why am I selling this Infiniti if it’s such a solid and well running vehicle? Well, that's a great question and I would definitely want to know this if I was interested in this buying a high quality pre-owned luxury vehicle like I assume you are. First of all, I really don't want to sell the car because I love it and am probably going to lose money by selling now given the price I paid, maintenance done, taxes and title fees paid, etc. That being said, here's the honest and embarrassing truth. I am selling the car because I was downsized from my corporate job back in October when my company decided to outsource our entire IT department to India and I haven't been able to get a new job as quickly as I expected. My wife and I have a third car that's really old but runs OK that I can use for now and quite frankly I need to raise some cash to pay the bills and tide us over until I can find a new job. Unemployment benefits, a single income and savings only go so far in NJ. This economy is still lousy and it's taking longer than I expected to land a new position. This G35x is my baby and I will be very sad to see it go. Of course my loss is your gain and a chance to get a great deal on a great car. Is this Infiniti a great deal? Well of course I am going to say I think it’s a terrific deal, but don’t just take my word for it.
