This 1955 Triumph T110 is up for auction. It is not 100% original or correct, but it is a nice rider. The motor and frame numbers match and it has a title. It has been serviced here at Big D Cycle recently, and is in good running condition. It is easy to start and fun to ride. This Triumph shifts and stops well and made for an enjoyable test ride. The chronometric speedometer is working. We did not restore this motorcycle; the paint and chrome are in good condition. We had the generator for this bike rebuilt. The rebuilt generator has been installed, but the charging system is still not working. This does not affect the bike’s ability to start; the ignition system is supplied by a magneto. This problem only affects the lights and horn which are fed off the battery. This bike has a podtroncics voltage regulator wired with the generator. That unit maybe bad, we don’t know. No further steps were taken to diagnose the charging system. This is a running/riding bike, but the charging system needs to be fixed. Below there are scans of the invoices for work performed on this motorcycle and a video of it starting and running. There are no additional parts for this motorcycle.
