1999 Volkswagon Beetle GLS, lady owned and driven. 160,000 highway miles. Power windows, locks, and mirrors, automatic transmission, cruise control, keyless entry with alarm,, good heat and A/C. This is a nice and well kept Beetle. It is reliable and performs every operation as it should. It has a nice smooth ride, tight steering, and is very fuel efficient. Above and beyond the factory options we had proffesionally installed an alpine CD/MP3/USB head unit with upgraded interior speakers for improved sound. With installation and the cost of the equiptment, well over $700 was invested in bettering the sound system. This is the only aftermarkert modification, the rest of the car is as it came from Volkswagon. The waterpump and thermostat were replaced last month at Gensinger Volkswagon in Clifton New Jersey. This is a good reliable car and should make a great commuter car or a first car for a teenager.
