Vehicle Detail
1949 Ford Coupe I have decided to sell my project car. Over the past year I have tinkered with this car here and there. I have had it running and have driven it around my yard a little over a year ago off a gas jug in the front. It ran good but It has a long way to go. The car will need patch panels for the front fenders ( I have one ) also floor pans for the front and rear, the rear quarters are not that bad but will need attention. The normal patches under the rear tail lights. And the hood off the 50 which is the best one will need some metal work. Okay the worst rust on the car is the door jambs when the doors are opened they drop down, my plans were to take both cars to a body shop and have the good ones cut from the 50' and installed on the 49'. Below is a list of new parts that I have for the car installed or not. * New Glass for the whole car except back glass which is fine ( not installed ) * New Plugs and Wires * New Cap and Rotor * New Points * New Fuel Pump * New Belts ( not installed ) * Master Cylinder Rebuild Kit ( not installed but cylinder is off, sandblasted and painted ) The seats are out of the car but I have them in my shop also the gas tank is out and gone I tried to put some cleaner in it which ate it up completely. This auction is for BOTH CARS if you do not want both cars I value the 50' at 200.00 so I can remove it from the final price. I have well over 2k in these cars so my starting price is well below that. If you have any questions or want pictures of anything please ask I will do my best to answer them or get you pics. Also I only have a title for the 49'. Thanks! I was asked to add pictures of the rockers and lower doors as well as floor pans. The rockers will need patching or replacing and in my opinion the doors on the 50 are in better shape but these can be used. So here are some additional pics.
