What you're bidding on is a beautiful 1967 powerful V8 Mustang - An American Classic!! The winning bidder will not be disappointed!! There is no RESERVE on this car!!! $7,999 IS AN ABSOLUTE STEAL FOR THIS CAR - BID WITH CONFIDENCE - LOOK AT HIS CAR!!! Here are some details about the Mustang and questions I would ask: How's the Frame and Under-body *****I've been able to purchase a few beauties over the years. I almost bought a 1966 Mustang a while back. I couldn't beleive it when I looked at the under-carriage and started poking around. With a screwdriver I pushed on a few spots that had clearly been painted, taped and bondo. The screwdriver went right through into the frame. The car was dressed to sell and looked great. The owner was trying to pass off a junkbox. This Mustang has a strong frame - No worries on this one!!! I also took pictures of the floor boards and Door Jams - No issues - See pictures... How's the body and rust? *****This is a paint job that wasn't cheap. The Black body with the White Vinyl roof looks impressive!! I've thought about installing a Moon Roof? The classic White stripes running along the bottom door sides look great! The lines on this car are straight. There are no dents or scratches. The chrome is sharp. The doors and windows are aligned (A common problem in the old Mustangs) - The emblems are sharp and look near-new!! By the way: People always give me the thumbs up, will come over to see the car, and some shout 'Nice Car' - It's a blast! The interior? *****The interior is in Excellent condition. I debated the off-white interior and took a chance. It's absolutely the perfect color. The white is sharp, maybe even luxury looking and EASY TO CLEAN IF NEEDED!! The engine? *****This is the strong V8 engine that most Mustang enthusiasts would love to own!! The Mustang runs strong and the engine is reliable. It has the original engine block and all the surrounding components have been updated (I'm pretty sure all of them at this point). Look at these pictures - This is a VERY CLEAN engine. Leave the hood up at the car shows!! General care? *****The Mustang has been garaged during the winter. But this isn't an original NorthEast vehicle. The majority of its life was in Florida!!! No salty roads, harsh weather, etc. - The heater works well. I have a small cottage in Maine and the car can be reliable for long or short trips. I'm always doing some kind of change or upgrade. But nothing is needed - If the car doesn't sell for some reason, I want to replace the steering wheel, create a custom center consol, etc. Why am I selling the car? *****I've been fortunate to own some beautiful cars. As a car enthusiest, I would love to own and drive alot of classics. I don't flip cars!!! I'm also not a mechanic...This is my 2nd Mustang and have another one some day!!!! *****The second reason for selling is that I don't get to use the Mustang too often. I spend alot of my time at Boston Childrens Hospital with my 3 year old. The car can be a nice distraction from the hospital and my childs condition. This Spring I'm going to be putting a pool in the backyard. A pool is the last thing I ever wanted to own and maintain in New England - But when it comes to my little guy and something that can therapeutically assist him, I'll drop everything including my Mustang - Someone should be firing up this car more than I do. But don't worry, I'll own another one sooner than later :) Other issues or recommendations to mention? *****I would consider changing out the engine fan cover. Not for performance, but for the sharp details. Cheap and easy. *****The car needs a new antenna. Another cheap fix... *****The E-brake needs a new line or tighten what's there now. I just never replaced it or really needed to. *****The weather strips have all been replaced a few years ago. A few spots (above the drivers side door) need to be re-secured. *****The brakes are fine, but you'll need to update the braking pads at some point. *****The steering column - shell could be updated to match the rest of the interior restoration. The coil (I think you call it) was fixed or replaced a long time ago. Again, this is a small cosmetic, picky thing. *****An updated chrome center shifter would look sharp. I'm can be a little picky, but the original one in the car doesn't line up perfectly with the P, D, R, etc. This is a beautiful car - Please feel free to message me and ask lots of questions. I can also talk over the phone if you message me your phone number. I'm brutally honest and have a great track record with ebay. My reviews are a 99.7% with over 800 transactions. I've decided to start the bidding at an EXTREMELY LOW $7,999. There is NO RESERVE and someone will be driving this car next week. I always recommend an inspection or for you to personally inspect the car, maybe go for a drive. Shipping - This is actually really easy. I've done it once before - DON'T GO THRU EBAY RECOMMENDATIONS. CALL THE CAR MOVERS DIRECTLY. NOT THE 'MIDDLE MAN' WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE AND SIMPLY CALLS THE MOVERS. THEY WILL CHARGE YOU 2X WHAT IT SHOULD COST!! I did some checking and shipping to Florida is approx. $500. CA would be approx double. This is Door to Door. Hopefully that will give you an approx gauge to the costs of shipping. The simple part - I'll require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the auction close. The full balance needs to be paid within 5 days. I think that's normal? I'm also flexible on how you want to pay the balance. Bank check, personal, wire, paypal, etc (I'd prefer not to use Paypal due to fee's). WINNING BIDDER WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!! ENJOY! Jason
