2000 Chevy Silverado 1500 Regular cab short bed pick-up. This is the 5.3L V8 4wd with an automatic transmission. Has Magnaflow exhaust and a Volant custom Cold Air intake. Truck is equipped with power locks, windows and seats and sliding rear window. Push button four-wheel drive. Comes with bed liner and removable tonneau cover with stabilizer bars. Has 17" Avalanche rims that look brand new. I bought this truck on 1/19/2011 from a gentleman who lives near by. He owned the truck since it had 14k miles on it and took exceptional care of it hands down. I am the 3rd owner. Before I bought the truck he had the A/C compressor replaced along with new brake calipers, pads and hoses.(I have receipts for this work) He was a tech for a local GMC dealer and serviced the truck as it should of been. I will list what has been done to the truck since I bought it back in January ( I have all receipts for items and work I am listing). 1st oil change w/ new fuel filter and power steering flush 1/19/11. Magnaflow exhaust installed 1/21/11 New Tint for truck 1/21/11. New shocks front and rear installed by myself 2/11. A/C cabin filters changed 2/11. Volant Cold Air intake installed by myself 2/11. All U-joints, left axle seal, pinion seal, idler arm, pitman arm done by Transmission Doctor 6/10/11. Coolant Flush and alignment 6/27/11 by Tires Plus. Front left Hub assembly along with complete brake system flush 7/23/11 by Tires Plus. ABS light on, check code and removed 7/23/11 Tires Plus. Brand new Falken Tires bought online from discount tire 265/70/17 and installed at Tires Plus 8/21/11. Last Synthetic oil change done 9/21/11 had 104,672 miles. Just changed Transmission fluid 11/18/11 Tires Plus and got tires realigned. As you can see almost every fluid has been changed on this truck since I bought it. The only fluids not changed were front and rear differentials and transfer case, but are still good consistency. The trucks engine runs and sounds fantastic, transmission shifts great too with no hiccups. I have never pulled anything or gone off-road so I can't rate the 4wd drive, but I have gone through all the gears and it works as it should. Things wrong with the truck: Radio works great as do all the speakers CD player does not work, I was told when I got the U-joints replaced that my posi rear-end was not working, but since I don't mud or pull anything I opted out of replacing it. I was quoted between $800.00 and 1400.00 depending on the type of posi you put in but again mechanically the rear-end is fine the way it is. There are no leaks at all but the rear pumpkin seal will look wet time to time could probably use a new pumpkin seal, but again no drips or major leaks at all. The light for LOW FUEL will come on and the fuel needle will drop to Empty due to float chamber not working in gas tank, its been this way since I bought and it never really bothered me (I just set trip button and wait until I get to 325 miles and refill) Some surface rust on the undercarriage but nothing to worry about. The center console when opened the lid just comes right off (needs those little cotter pins to hold in place, but it locks in fine and does not move. Has all jack equipment and spare tire with rim. I am selling due to new addition to family and need bigger truck. The truck is solid and runs excellent for being 11 years old. The interior is by far the best you will see for the year of the truck all (3) owners were non-smokers and I have always clean it 3x a month. This is the stock paint and as far as the look I have added an additional 3 photos (hood, left and right side of truck). The paint is in excellent condition and as far as the tailgate it looks the same...I did forget to mention the rubbing of the license plate on bottom part of tailgate..this has been there since I owned the truck its the only blemish in the paint.
