Vehicle Detail
Here I have a 1985 Ford mustang AOD carburated 5.0 convertible. I purchased this vehicle a few weeks ago with the intentions of doing a terminator mod swap, but I have decided to go a different direction and no longer need this vehicle. I am not 100% sure of what ALL has been done to this car, I have not turned one wrench on it, I'm selling it exactly how I purchased it. Here are the modifications that I can see that have been done to it prior to my purchase: It has a full MSD set up, distributor, cap, wires, and module box, it has a Holley 4 barrell carb, I'm not sure of the CFM's (also comes with an extra Holley 4 barrell,) it has an Edelbrock RPM lower intake manifold, it has Holley blue pump fuel pump with firewall regulator, the previous owner had told me that the block was bored out to a 306. The car has a 5 lug conversion done on it, front spindes out of an SN95, and a 7.5" 5 lug rear out of an SN95 V6 with disk brakes. It also has a 87-93 GT bumper conversion. Now the bad, the convertible top goes up and down only by hand, the motor wont move the top, I'm not sure if it's just low on fluid, or that it needs a new pump, I have no interest in looking into it. The body is not perfect on it, it needs some TLC put into it, It was a factory red car and has been black primered, there is rust on the car, I haven't looked too far into the car to see all where it is, but I see the usual rust on the bottom corner of the drivers side door. The car DOES run and drive, I drove it from my shop to the DMV to get a VIN verification to transfer the title over when I first purchased the car, which is about a 20 minute ride each way. It just runs rough until the carb has warmed up, the carb needs tuning, I'm an EFI guy so I haven't touched the carb. This car is not perfect, it's a cheap car, I'm taking a loss on it because I just want it out of my way, I have no use for it, I suggest it to be trailered home.
