Vehicle Detail
For Sale: Custom Honda Shadow V-Twin Nearly every part of this bike has been gone over, rebuilt, repainted, refurbished or replaced. This bike has a REALLY low seat height, perfect for the shorter rider, lady rider, or beginner. New Metallic Orange paint, newly rebuilt forks with new seals and fresh fluid, painted lower fork tubes, new 11" rear chrome shocks, new handlebars, new grips, new mirrors, new mini speedometer with less 2 miles on the odometer, new bullet style chrome headlight, mini bullet turn signals, always on rear running lights/turn mini signals, side mount license plate with chrome frame, new cat eye turn signal, brake light, new K&N Air Filter, custom duel exhaust pipes with removable baffles, tires and wheels in excellent shape, new 115dB horn with Harley Davidson chrome cover, Kuryakyn chrome iso pegs and shift lever, coolant flushed and filled with new coolant, master clutch cylinder flushed and filled, new front brake pads, new fuel lines, newly changed oil with new filter. Engine and transmission are stock and strong with no modifications. It has a new battery with battery tender plug. There is a place for highway pegs forward of the foot pegs that would be perfect for a set of Iso pegs. Major mechanical replaced were the front brake pads, clutch cylinder gasket, relocating the ignition modules under the seat, relocating the electrical junction board and wiring harness (inside of fork bag) rebuilding the front forks, installing new spark plugs, new exhaust crush gaskets. Major cosmetics include custom rear fender and tail lights, new metallic paint, lowered rear, new painted frame, chrome bullet headlight and front signals, mini speedo with indicator lights, custom solo seat professionally upholstered. The engine covers on each side have had the HONDA logo filled and painted. There are no identifying marks on the motorcycle that identify it's make or model. The history I know: A friend of mine became the 2nd owner in 1992 at about 15,000 miles or so. He had it regularly maintained at Dreyer Motorsports in Indianapolis, and rode it steadily until 2009 then parked it. I purchased it this spring in generally good mechanical condition and gave it a makeover this past summer.
