Vehicle Detail

[zipedit] You are looking at a professionally built 1971 Plymouth Duster 360 with power steering, power front disc brakes. It is very well-maintained and a great driver. This is an original California car, but started its life as a 6-cylinder grocery-getter. Mike Hennessy Automotive transformed this car into what you see today, which is everything mechanically that the Duster 340 had, but as a Duster 360. This was the featured car on Mike Hennessy's "Car Guy" channel show. There is a link featured here, video 4 on the Youtube channel CARGUYCHANNEL. Just a note about me; the seller. I am not a car dealer and I have conducted a limited number of transactions on Ebay, with no recent transactions. This is also the first vehicle I have ever sold on Ebay. This is why I have a "Low Feedback" Low Positive" score. This is an honest car from an honest seller and I would be happy to accommodate any independent inspections of the vehicle requested prior to purchase. I have a clear title in my name for the Duster. The VIN is VL29C1E146323. I am also available for any questions you may have about the Duster by calling my cell number 510-789-9173. The exterior sheet metal of the car is solid and rust-free. There are no dings or dents anywhere on the vehicle. The Duster is painted in the correct lemon-twist color and features black striping and accents and the paint was new with the build. The exterior also features an original restored "shark's tooth" grill, Mopar dual hood scoops, a correct, newly painted matte black hood with hood-pins, and a Mopar correct gull wing rear spoiler. We just added NOS 360 emblems to the hood scoops. The engine is a professionally built Mopar 360, with less than 4,000 miles on the build. It features an rv cam, Edelbrook Street Master intake, Edelbrook 4BBL carburetor, MSD 6AL electronic ignition MSD Blaster 2 ignition coil, Hooker Headers, chrome-valve covers, air cleaner, K&N filter, new radiator and fan. The transmission is a professionally built Mopar 727 automatic connected to a B&M "Quick Silver" ratchet shifter center mounted with B&M brushed aluminum T-handle and less than 4,000 miles on the rebuild. The rear end is a fresh, one-year old professionally built Mopar 8 1/4" with 3:23 open gear ratio. The dual exhaust system is new with the build, and has less than 4,000 miles on it, and is 2 1/2" with Flow-Masters and chrome tips. Sounds great! See Video Below! This Duster features new front-disc brakes. The front end was completely re-built less than a year ago with new upper and lower control arms, ball joints, tie rods, new bushings and new front disc brakes from Master Power Brakes. It also has a new brake-boost and new dual master cylinder. There are new NOS Mopar heavy duty torsion bars, new NOS heavy duty rear leaf springs, and KYB gas adjust shocks on all four corners. New Hellwig 11/8" front and 7/8" rear anti-sway bars were also added. The tires are newer 60 series BF Goodrich radial TAs, with less than 2,000 miles on them. They are mounted on original Mopar 14" ralley wheels with chrome trim rings. The rear bumper was also re-chromed. The interior is very clean with Corbeau cloth-bucket seats, and matching rear seat cover. The headliner, dash pad and visors were all replaced or restored during the build. All exterior marker lights and turn signals are in perfect working order, including the interior dome light. I have all the receipts for the improvements listed since I bought the car. The windshield is tinted and was replaced last year. The trunk seal, window sweeps have all been replaced. There is a newer JVC AM / FM CD player with 4 Clarion speakers. The undercarriage is as clean as the exterior. You can see the chrome oil and transmission fluid pans and floor pans and all other components are solid. The fuel gauge does not work; but aftermarket gauges, oil pressure, volt meter and water temperature under radio work great. This is one of the nicest Dusters you will find. It is an original California car and it drives straight, sounds, stops, and handles as great as it looks. The car is quick and handles well with no body roll and stops quickly. It is a real head-turner, and everyone who sees it wants to ask about it. This car is ready to enjoy, and we hope it will go to the best home. The reserve price has been lowered from the previous listing. The car is always garage kept and maintenance records are up to date with recent oil, filter and lube performed. Transmission, brake fluid and radiator fluids are all fresh in 2011. Buyer will be responsible for transport after purchase. If you need a carrier, Jim Mc Elley Transport comes very highly recommended by Mike Hennessy Automotive with reliable, safe transport from coast to coast at a competitive cost.
