Up for sale is a 1973 Mustang. This Mustang was born in Michigan as a 6 cylinder with an automatic trans. It now has an 8 cylinder with a 3 speed trans. It came with a 4 barrel carb when I bought it and a full tank of 3 year old gas. The carb started leaking so I converted it to a 2 barrel. Just recently replaced the water pump and just ordered air shocks. Shocks have not come in yet. The body is in excellent shape. There are a few things that need to be done such as, the fuel gauge does not work, the radio is an AM and does not work. The carb I put on is an electric choke but the car came with a manual choke. I will include the old carb which probably just needs a cleaning. One of the previous owners installed a sun roof, some time in the 80's I was told. I was also told the car was never drive in the rain or snow, at least in the last 3 years. The seats have rips in them, the driver's side is a little bigger than the passenger's side. There is a place in Orland Park where they came be repaired for less than 100.00. This is a No Reserve auction and the car is also listed locally, so I will end the auction early for the right price.
