Up for auction is a 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Magnum V6 3.7 Liter. This truck has only 95k Miles on it currently runs like new. It's also a HUGE gas saver with the V6 engine and another huge plus is that it's a 5 speed so when you put it in 5th gear you save even more gas because it wont burn as much fuel. It has a brand new flowmaster 44 series ehaust system which sounds incredible and also gives it that extra added torque and power also helps increase gas mileage which is the main reason I have it on the truck. Just had a full tune up done and oil was changed every 3,000 miles up to date. When you look at buying a new truck a manual is the way to go they are stronger and last longer. Dodge Rams with manuals usually go well over 300k miles on average. If your transmission goes out on a automatic truck your looking at thousands of dollars in repairs. If something happens to a manual transmission just cost a few hundred bucks to either replace or just rebuild. Automatic transmissions have a lot of modern electrical devices which add up fast and are harder to replace manual transmissions have no electrical devices. This dodge also has newer tires regular all weather type in the front and rugged all weather tires in the rear for better traction and if you need to pull a boat or something. This truck overall is in immaculate condition garage kept and never used as a work truck. Has a cd player and a brand new ac compressor which during the summer gets super cold. A brand new air compressor was installed 2 months ago and blows super cold and the heater works perfectly as well! Has a rugged bed liner. Additional Details: There are a few minor dings in the rear chrome bumper nothing really noticeable. 2. The emergency brake small plastic handle the lever you pull to release the e brake came off but either before or after this auction i'm buying a new one for the winner they are very cheap around 12 bucks & super easy to just snap on. (note) A lot of people who drive manuals just keep it in first gear when they park anyways makes it easier. 3. I had a new ac compressor installed from my local Dodge dealer recently the knob you use to turn the ac on its only working on full blast same as heat but its a minor issue it just needs a new $30 switch that goes behind the nob. I will also pay for this either before or after the auction ends and send that to you easy to install. 4. The only other thing on all dodge ram trucks form about '98-2006 the dashboards in dodge rams would start to crack due to the sun this has to do with the material used i'm not sure why it's happened to the last 3 dodge rams i've owned. But I purchased a custom dash cover made to fit this year and make looks great. IF you ever wanted to just replace with the original dashboard you can get one for just $150 but you will most likely be fine with the way it is now. No other issues noted truck runs and drives excellent and looks new inside and out. I hate to get rid of it but I need to sell it to finish paying off my school.
