Up for your consideration is my 1972 Dodge Charger. The car has R/T emblems on it but it is not as no R/T's were available in 1972. This car has a good running, strong 318cid engine (the previous owner has told me this is the original motor to the car, numbers matching) and she is backed with an automatic transmission. The motor starts by just tapping the key and purrs once running. She is equipped with an Eldebrock aluminum intake and Eldebrock carb, as well as a new aluminum radiator and dual Flowmaster exhaust which exits out the rear. She sounds as healthy as she runs! The car is a factory A/C car although the components under the hood are no longer present (compressor, evaporator, etc.) although the dash vents and controls all remain. The car has power disc brakes, power steering and HIDEAWAY HEADLIGHTS that actually work!! The headlight switch is supposed to control the opening and closing of the headlight doors, but that is no longer working (may need a new headlight switch), but a aftermarket toggle switch has been temporally installed so you can still open and close the doors using this switch. The car runs, drives, shifts, turns and brakes as she should without problem or issues. The interior is in pretty decent shape, carpet is about 2 years old, seats are free of rips and tears, and the dash looks to be free of cracks, the gauges all seem to be working. The Charger has a “plain jane” nothing fancy white paint job on her currently and although it looks good, the paint is not without flaws. The trunk lock assembly is missing. This is an easy to finish project car, overall very solid and minimal rust issues. The only rust I can see is some bubbling behind the rear wheels and a small hole in the trunk floor (about the size of a golf ball), overall VERY solid. As I am sure you well know, these classic Mopars are getting harder to find especially one that has not been destroyed or rotted away after 30 years! The body is pretty straight with just a small amount of bodywork needed to make this car 100%, or just drive this vintage American muscle car as is. The Magnum 500 wheels look great on the car and the tires have about 95% tread remaining on all four. All of the glass looks glass. She is ready for a new home as I have too many projects.
