For Sale - 1981 Fairmont [Fox body] [347 all forged [ crank, rods, pistons] with AFR 185 aluminum heads, aluminum performer RPM intake and 750 Holley carb with manual choke. The trans is a custom C-4 with a TCI 3000 stall converter. As illustrated in the photos, I am selling a super nice complete car with great paint and a completely redone interior. This is a total performance set up, that is ready for street and strip. The car is set up to hook up and run safely on the street or at the track. This is a smooth running almost new 347 with 400 plus HP that will run high 11's at the track on pump gas. It is a low compression motor that can easily make 550 HP with a supercharger. All turn signals,windshield wipers and lights work. The Fairmont is frame tied to a 10 point roll bar. It has an 8.8 with drum brakes and 5 lugg in the rear and disc brakes in the front with 4 ludds. It has a 8.8 posi and 373 gears, drive shaft loop, and a rachet shifter on the floor. The rear has aftermarket double adjustable upper control arms. and adjustable lower control arms with adjustable drag shocks and a rear housing brace. The front end has a K-Member, camber and caster plates, racing struts, and new springs and an aftermarket steering link. The car rides nice and will hook hard when you make a pass at the track. The car comes with a 6 AL, performance coil and distributor. The car has a role control. There is a like new aluminum fuel cell with an axcel electric pump and filter capable of providing fuel for 600HP. There is an aluminum radiator, dual electric fan and an electric water pump and new alternator. The interior is all new. New carpet, new headliner, 2 new black bucket seats, rear seat delete with carpet in the rear. The rear seat is included and can be reinstalled. The exterior paint is very nice quality. The body is very solid and was redone a few years ago by the previous owner. The paint is very good quality for a nice street/track car/ Not show quality, but very nice. The hood scoop is bolt on and functional for air flow. The wheels are all Welds with front runners and 8" wide street tires on the rear. The exhaust has 1.75 stainless long tube headers with dual 3 inch and mufflers with tail pipes that run to the rear axel. There is a racing seat belt for the driver's seat. This is a nice car at a very reasonable price. Everything is in very nice condition. I am a 63 year old Ford guy that is selling one of his special toys.
