This is a 1998 Honda CRV with All Wheel Drive. The car currently has about 165,000 miles and like you would expect from a Honda, it still runs great! The car has been in the family for 6 years now and there have never been any problems to speak of outside of routine maintenance The title for the vehicle is also completely clear. This would be the perfect car for a new driver, or for the winter commute. It saved us on countless occasions during the nasty winters in Ohio! It is just about the definition of old reliable :) The exterior of the vehicle is in fair condition and has a few character marks. While the paint is still in good shape overall, there are a few dents, scratches, that are consistent with its age. There are also a few small rust spots by the fenders and the gas lid. Like all CRV's, the vehicle is equipped with a full spare tire. One tire has a very slow leak (needs filled about once a month) but other than that the tires are in great shape. The Interior of the car is in good shape. The seats have held up very well, and the dash is in great shape. The floors show some wear (as you can see in the picture) by the drivers side, but everything else is in good shape for its age. All of the powered equipment in the car works great including the; power windows, power locks, cruise control, power mirrors, heat, A/C, keyless entry, etc. The radio has a small short by the head unit which causes it to turn itself off every so often, but would be an easy fix for any audio center or for someone who knows how to pull the radio out of the dash. The rear driver side door handle also seems to have come out of its track and the door will no longer open. Agian, an easy fix for someone who knows how to take off the door panel. Lastly, the trunk handle no longer works but the window will unlcok with the key. The handle, I believe it is missing a part from the inside... I am not sure of the story on that one to be honest. Mechanically, the car has been well cared for and as I said before, it runs great. All routine maintenance has been kept up on with routine oil changes, brakes (changed the front about 3000 miles ago with new rotors and ceramic pads), spark plugs, etc. There is a small rattle by the fan when the car turns on but quickly subsides when the car is in motion. All and all this is a great first car, commuter car, or winter car. It is a very reliable vehicle and has served our family well now for years. The reason we are selling the vehicle is because I just got a raise and we can finally afford that new car for my wife! We have had the issue checked out and it is the ABS sensor, and there is nothing wrong with the actual ABS system. It has been on for almost two years and we have never had a problem with the brakes. Being that the sensor has no bearing on the performance of the brakes, we never replaced it. I apologize for the delay in posting this information. But for the sake of honesty I wanted to make sure to mention it before the close of the auction.
